Driveshaft removal

Does the driveshaft yolk just slide into the end of the trans? I guess what I am asking is to pull the driveshaft, do I just need to pull it out the back? 5 spd

Yep it should just slide out once u have it unbolted...

Don't forget to drain the transmission before you do that.

The oil comes out the back without the shaft installed? Good thing I asked. I did not know that. Thanks for the info guys.
