driveshaft r&r question

i'm planning to exercise my u-joints this coming week and of course i've heard everybody recommends replacing the transmission-to-driveshaft seal at that time. what about the seal between driveshaft and rear diff? is this something that's easy to replace at the same time? thanks. randy

There is no seal where the driveshaft mounts to the diff. The driveshaft bolts right to a metal flange. your not messing with a seal so as long as its not leaking now your ok.
