Hey, I have finally gotten back to work on my cars and I'm currently stripping my lovely totalled rb20 coupe to sell the engine and use what parts I need to get my ca18 car running at long last.

I have a stock drive shaft in my hatch(ca18det car) now but I have a 650 bhp rated Aluminum Drive Shaft Shop brand D-S that I can't get nearly half what I want to out of it(cost me 450 new and I cant get a bite at 250 now). I was thinking about it this morning, I think this part is really designed to be a better quality factory ka24 type part and not so much a piece made to swap an rb20 in. I have used an R32 skyline cross-member for the swap if that helps.

Is this thinking correct? I should be able to swap it right in right? My only concern above it being too short/long or giving me a way off angle between trans and rear end.

I think it'll work as the drive shaft length doesn't really change much between a mount kit and the r32 crossmember.

Just break out the tape measure to be sure or just put it in and try it. The transmission yokes are all the same so that wont be an issue.

ka/ca/rb20det/rb25de trannys are all the same output so the same driveshaft can be used
