I removed my driveshaft from the front diff and marked it with chalk so I could line it up the same way when I reinstalled it. Went to reinstall and my mark had rubbed off. Will it be a problem if it is not oriented the same? or is there a way to tell which way it should go?

You might have to do some trial and error. It's more about vibration control. Next time use paint!
