so I've researched a little and I'm about to have my driveshaft made monday and was wondering how much slack to measure with... IE I read one place to put the yolk all the way in and then pull it out an inch and measure.... Is this right?

when i had one made, the driveshaft shop just had me measure from the trans, where the yoke slips in, to the flange on the rear diff. they did all the calculations. i think any reputable shop should be able to figure it out, that way its not too long or too short.

you need to ask the shop how they want you to measure.each place can be diffrent.
