You will need the length of the D/S required. I searched and could not find any mention of the lengths. Maybe someone has the length of a standard shift S14 D/S...????? With that information you can have one made locally by any 4wheel drive shop. I see you're in Florida, should be easy to find a shop that will do a D/S down here.

I'm just south from both of you guys. I know uber ur up there in Ocala as well, huh.

Anyways, what motor did you swap in?

RB20, use your stock s14 driveshaft (5spd)RB25, the Z32 input shaft and the s14 rear diff flange. Custom length. A Z32 complete driveshaft will not work in for your application.

CoolwhipWhat is the length of the stock 5spd D/S? having the ability to have one made locally is far cheaper than available thru the net. My car came as an auto so I don't have anything for comparison.

shouldn't matter as long as its from a 5spd.

My rb20 car coming off the road in the extremely near future, so meeting up would be a NRRBA meet.

What your saying is that they need a 300Z input shaft and they are still gonna charge $300.00. Wow it's worth it to get a D/S from the net at that price..

If it's not a huge deal at this point... I'd put the trans on the the motor outside of the car if you can and install them together from under the car... saves a lot of time and reduces the amount of explicits sworn

Good luck with the swap!

$300 is steep for this area dude... Id check somewhere else. If you know a little about what you're talking about and get a length they are less likely to try to screw you.

Im in CFL too btw.

You'll need a s13 240sx 5spd driveshaft (factory) no need to go with an aftermarket one unless you want to spend the money... If so you can pick one up thats for a SR/KA one piece.

As far as $300 you should just then buy one over the internet. Let JP said, you should look around alittle more and just get better knowledge of what is needed.

Anyways, a $300 driveshaft is beans for the swap today. I remember when this "information" would cost you in the neighborhod of $800.

Good Luck.

now that we've settled this driveshaft issue once again for the umpteenth time this thread is closed.
