driveshaft help

here's the driveshaft i have, this is it, one piece. when i get under there and start taking things apart am i going to realize a piece is missing? is this all i need?

mine had a different end on it when i had it out for the rear main seal and clutch last week. it had 8 allen head bolts that were 6MM if I remember right. pic is kinda zoomed out but you should get the idea...

maybe there is an adapter kit to mate it to the pinion of the differential?

That driveshaft is for a NA rear end, not a TT rear end

Well since you already have the driveshaft, might as well put a NA rear end on it, different gearing.

OR

Someone already put the NA rear end in the car and gave you the driveshaft as hint. You should check it out and let us know. Does the car have HICAS on the rear subframe? Take a pic of the power steering pump, can usually tell that way. Even just a quick look under the rear will tell you what you have. From experience, if you like to take off quick, this would be a good mod for you. At least I am enjoying it.

Yeah, that's probably the reason it wasn't installed. Different bolt pattern.
