Ok so my carrier bearing blew out a few months back and my ds was flopping around for a lil while. I just got in from japan and replaced the carrier bearing. The ds is alot more solid now but had a hard vibration around 3000rpm in 1st and 2nd also on the free way. Anyone have any idea on why it still vibrates like a mofo?

I was just reading this article and it posted something about having to balance the bearing with the drive shaft, maybe that's where your problem is.

also, check to make sure you put the bearing on right, i noticed that the transmission pushes the bearing clockwise (lookin from the front of the engine) so make sure that the bolts from the transmission are before the bolts to the driveline, i know it's a weird explanation, buuut... if you know what it looks like hopefully you'll know what i'm talking about. so if this crazy thing is the bearing looking from the front of the car, the x's should be where the transmission connects and the 0's should be where the drivline connects, hope it helps.
