any ideas would be greatly appreciated
I have a 1995 Nissan pickup four cylinder, it started dying on me and I'd try and crank it back up but for some reason it acts like there isn't enough juice to turn over, especially when it first dies. So I normally have to sit for 30 seconds to a minute or so and after a few churns she turns over. I've replaced the battery, the alternator and the starter twice. when I got the new battery I figured the problem was fixed but sure enough after about a week or two it was still turning over slow, I tried checking to make sure everything was well grounded but I'm not sure how well of a job I did. recently it has started dying on me more frequently, it drives fine going down the road but when I put it in neutral like at a stop light or when I'm slowing down and turning on to another street sometimes it'll just die. it idles really low. I've been putting off working on it but the time has come to figure it out. any suggestions would be appreciated.

HI PDB1989,
Saw your post, while I don't know that much about it....my boyfriend says it sounds like something is still not grounding....to keep checking your grounds with a test light...also could be a short in the brake light circuits....even a partial short will cause the alternator to load and try to put power out. He said he would check the brake light circuits.

I saw your post as I was posting about my numerous problems....lol...so I know your pain...good luck and I hope you get it figured out.

Sound's like the Belt Slipping just a tad.

If it get's worse in damp or rainy weather,, that's a pretty good sign,, that it's the belt. :mike
