Driverside door lamp lost power, but room lamp fuse not blown, need help! :(

All of the other lamps including the 3 other door lamps and dome lamps are still fully functional, but not the driverside. Looks like the wire going to the driverside door lamp may have a short. How far do I have to trace the wire to replace it or what is required to restore power all the way to that lamp?

I know this may sound dumb, but have you checked to see if the globe has blown?

I second this, its almost always the simpler solution blown bulb versus shorted wire.

BTW Ozzie I had to read your post a couple of times trying to understand what you meant(globe=bulb) -then I checked your location!!
