about a month ago started gettinga squeek on the drivers side window when putting it up. sometimes it squeeks sometimes it doesn't. doesnt matter what the weather is, hot, rain, dry, cool. theres no rhyme or reason to it. i had the windows tinted but that was months before thkis started. any ideas to make it stop or just take it to the dealership. the car is still covered.

Try spraying some silicon in the rubber slits the where the window slides up and down. maybe the weather stripping is no good?

Take it to the dealer and let them spray stuff to figure it out... that way if it makes a mess they get to clean it!

It could simply be that you window run rubber is dirty, it happens frequently. I usually use glass cleaner on some lint free paper towels and work it into the the gap and run it up and down (you will be surprised what comes out). The I use another clean towel to put some long lasting silicone lubricant(less messy). This is pretty common when you increase the total thickness of the window with tint, even though its only a few thousandths of an inch.
