Car: 2009 AWD Nissan Rogue SL -- black on black leather with premium package

Post

I have a 2009 Rogue SL AWD with 1,500 miles on it. At various speeds, when driving on semi- to slightly-rough pavement (usually concrete streets with bumps at the expansion cuts) or just uneven pavement, I HEAR a vibration sound "very short" but frequent bursts of this sound.

The only example I can give is it sounds like if you held a hand massager on the door and it was slightly muffled. Very annoying when the radio is off.

I've tried applying pressure to various points on the door and upper left dash to see if I can alter or eliminate the sound --- but so far nothing.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also, it seems to be less noticeable when the temperature is below 40 degrees F.

Thanks for your time, struct32

Hi

I had two issues in my car until last week

1> Creaking Noise while taking right turn (from passenger's side)

2> Excessive vibrations on passenger side while the car is not moving (example in P or N position)

This week they replaced a strut assembly and both the issues are resolved.

zer...early

The service guy told me he had seen this issue in few other Rogues as well.

Not sure if you have this issue, but just in case it helps.
