do you know where I can get a link, or a video or a diagram of how the seat heating kit looks like?

I'm going to assume you have heated seats not climate controlled. There is a relay in the engine room which controls power to the heaters. It could be faulty.

climate controlled, the seats are heated and cooled. is there some type of diagram on line or video or fuse or something, i have some crazy news. i got a letter that m35 year between xx to xx has been recalled etc. my year is in there. the dealership called me before i got it saying "they are looking for that year for special reasons and what to make a deal and can even put me in a newer model same car not etc..." i new it sound like crap. i called them they said they dont have the recall part so thats why they are looking to make a deal. I might get a newer model and newer year for what I am paying now that would be cool.

Cheers! It's always best to get a newer car. (perhaps not so much an M from all the stories of small annoyances). Go Q!
