So this is a complete description of my situation.
My car had a hit and run on my front end, causing my lights to be stuck in the pop up position. One night when I was driving home, the linkage arm for the headlight motor broke and my headlight motor was just turning and turning since it had no resistance to stop it. Along with that, my driver's side headlight turned off. So I unplugged the headlight motor so that it would stop spinning and drove home and when I turned off my car, my drivers side headlight turned back on. Confused, I turned my ignition back on and my driver's side headlight turns off. So my problem is that when my ignition switch is on, for some reason my headlight is not receiving any power... but another really strange thing is that when I'm driving, and say I hit a gnarly bump, sometimes my headlight will turn back on until I hit another bump then turn off. I've checked all the retract relays and they're all working fine, and the headlight motor itself is working(just it doesn't have the linkage arm on it) and the headlight isn't burned out or anything. I thought the headlights were independent from the ignition though, so that's why I'm so confused as to why my headlight turns off when I turn on my ignition... HELP MEEE!!
