I have two suggestions:
1: What I did with mine was wrap a thin piece of leather (can be anything really) around the striker and taped it really tight with electrical tape. Then I used 2 cable tie wraps on each side of the striker to keep it from wearing out fast. This lifts and shuts the door tighter when you close it, but the only problem is that it will be harder to shut and open the door. I would take pictures, but it's too dark outside to do so.... I'll give you some visuals tomorrow.
2: I don't know if this applies to all year models, but my '90 has one of those nail like hinges that wear out the bushings like no other (don't know what made Nissan think that was a brilliant idea...). So what you could also do is replace the bushings; however, I'm not quite sure how much luck you'll have on that. My S13's bushings are so old that they've actually welded on, so taking it to a dealership or body shop may be your only choice to 'mechanically' get it fixed. Unless, of course, you have confidence that you'd be able to remove the existing bushings on your door ^^
Hope this helps!
