I went to put my windows up today, and the driver window did nothing. When I hit the switch, you can hear the switch click. If I toggle it to auto up it will click few seconds pass & it clicks again. The window hasnt been slow so I dont think its the motor. Please help.

I had a similar problem in both windows about a year ago and I had to replace the window regulators. It fixed the problem but it was a PITA to get the windows back in alignment when I open and closed the doors.

Don't double post. I got rid of your post in 350Z General since it really belongs here.

Occam's Razor = the simplest explanation is usually the best explanation.

My money is the on the window motor. It's also a well known issue with earlier Z's.

I didnt mean to. I posted in general first & realized I put it in the wrong spot. So I just posted again hoping a mod. would delete the first.

By the way. I got the window up. I hit the door panel hard a few times, hit the switch and it went right up. Another forum told me it the motor. Here I recommended a regulator. Anyone else have suggestions?

That's some powerful hope, I didn't understand why I was doing it, I was just compelled! Maybe you should hope I win the lottery! I'll send you some cash to get your windows fixed.

Hell, I'll just buy you a new car.

Maybe I have acted to slowly. Today I ran the window down, stayed open for about an hour while I waxed the Z. Put it back in the garage. Closed the window. Seamed to close hard. Realized I wanted to do something else in the garage & went to put the window down again but just clicked. I also noticed the window isnt doing its sealing trick when I close the door. Tried slamming the door a couple times. Still nothing. Here the word is pressure regulator. I also posted my problem on another forum last night and 2 people said the motor. Can anyone please help me trouble shoot this window before I just shoot the window!

My driver side window did the same thing i took the door panel off and saw that it was my tracks that for some reason had dirt in them mixed with the grease and was causing it to get stuck also i cleaned out my motor but it wasn't really that dirty witch was kinda shocking. but now it works fine i didn't put to much grease back on the tracks because i didn't want it happening again.
