driver window doesnt roll up

My driver window does not roll up any more the button does not work only the driver side button.... the button for the pass. works and so does the window lock. i push the button for my window and all i hear is a click why ...i need it to be fixed cuz my windows are down and i need my car for work..

are u able to grab the window and tilt it from front to back while pulling up, try doing that and using the switch at the same time. sounds like u need to have the window regulator and motor replaced. i have a similiar problem on my infiniti j30. but its the passenger window.

its a 91 se 240sx.............when i push the button fwd all i hear is a click .....? and the button is really hard to push so im going to try and replace it from a friend who has a spare 240

k i got the window up by tilting it back and forth with the switch fwd....and it goes down and up only thing is if it goes so far down it gets stuck and then i have to tilt it again to get it up....why is it getting stuck like 2inches before it goes all the way.....of coarse im not going to send itall the way down cuz i dont what it to get stuck whats up with it

u know, my passenger window has the exact problem on my j30. when the window is about 2 inches from going all the way up, it locks up.

now the clicking noise, is it coming from inside the door, or just the switch itself?? if its inside the door, then im about 90% sure its the window regulator, and has to be replaced, with it stoping at a certian point, i believe thats contributed from the window motor being bad. on my j30, both parts are one whole peice, so thats kind of an easy replacement. i would say to post in the 240sx forum and u should be able to get more answers.
