my truck window has been doin that for 3 years now lol, its goes up half way fine, then starts to click, i pull it up with my hand about 1/2" then it goes up to 3/4, give it another nudge and it goes all the way up. i just assumed it was slipping off track, didnt bother to look into it yet. did you take the door panel off to check it out?

the truck sounds like a motor binding up. the car idk try to take the panel off and check the rail, the little scrubbers at the top that the window slides against???maybe see if your rail is stuck on something. Mine wobbles like crazy I guess I need to check out the rail to see if everything is tightened.

its most likely your power window amp, search power window amp and follow the instructions on how and where to solder it and see if that works, i had the opposite problem in my s14, window clicked but wouldnt roll down, the amp fixed it

I just changed out my motor. If you still hear clicking your motor should still be good. The window amp is what you should be on the hunt for

Im onto my 3rd window motor now.....

not always

mine clicked all the time and the motor was toast. wouldnt even work with a car battery giving it power straight to it. changed the motor/ track and kept the same amp and it worked like a charm

op just rip your door off and take out the whole track assembly. it takes all of 10 minutes to do with the door panel off and you can get a good look to see whats up

I've had that happen and with mine it was the regulator, cost me like $40 at the junkyard and has worked fine since.

for those that don't know, the regulator is the rail hardware everything bolts to, kind of a deceptive name imo but thats what it is.
