Driver Side Window problem

Hey I'm having some difficulties with my driver side window. The window goes all the way up but for some reason goes right back down at least halfway. This happens every single time!

Anyone know what can be the problem? And how to fix it?

The window mechanism is detecting a pinch and is partially retracting as a safety measure. You have to retrain the mechanism. The process is detailed in the Factory Service Manual section GW.

You can find the manual at

Select your year and then the GW section. For my 2006 it is on pages GW52,53.
