This past summer I repaired my driver's side window motor by replacing the brushing inside powerwindow motor. Off-the-grid and not by any book....but it's still working! You may as well try it since your motor's not working anyway and a new costs about $150 or $75 used. Pull the door panel and connections, (w/window in up positon) unbolt the motor, unbolt the two lower window tracks (brace the heavy window w/a block of wood or have someone hold it), lower the window down, take out the motor (not the positon of the mechanism teeth etc so you can put it back the same way), uncover the top of the motor, pull out the center gear/shaft, replace the brushess (they're very soft material and i found some laying around and just ground 'em down to fit $0 cost!), put it back together (but plug the connectors in and test it first to see if you've fixed it) in reverse. Good luck. Paul
