The other day my driver side window motor died. I called nissan and they said list would be $440 just for the new part, plus intallation. is there anywhere i can get the part cheaper, and install it myself? I need to get it done soon cuz im gonna go on 8 hour road trip in the middle of summer and i need to roll my window down....man, i really need some help on this!

If the window just stopped working, but the passenger window still works from the drivers side, its probably the window relay. Take your doop panel off and look for a black box with a plug coming out of it towards the rear of the door. Replace that and see if it helps, cuz I was in the same situation as you and that $25 box fixed it all. Ive also heard they go out quite often.

My window motor is also out and I have searched for months for a new one and the only two places I have found are NAPA-$105,and http://www.nationalpartfinder.com-$105. Through NAPA I get huge discounts so there origanal price may be higher but the national part finder has the list as $105. Those prices are for the s14 because they are totally different than s13. Hope this helps.
