hi all,

i have a 03' g35 coupe..
the driver side window stopped working so i figured it was just the motor since its a common issue,
i took the motor off, but then i got an electric power tester and checked the harness that goes to the motor and got no power reading while holding the window button up or down, can the issue be the switch?
i aslo ran some low current directly to the motor and it moves,

someone please help,
fuse? window switch? motor?

A fuse is easy to check. Look at the fusebox. Switch, it can happen. If you are checking the electric power, you can put the meter into reading ohms and then test the switch and see if when pressed it makes contact.

I checked the fuses and all is fine,

Just noticed that when the motor is plugged in
It does not work or even make a noise when I press
In the window button up or down, but when I open the door
It turns, but only when I open, it doesn't do anything when
Closing.

Maybe its a relay or something. My passenger side motor is going out, but I hear clicks on the switch when pressing it.

If you hear a click at the switch I would bet its the motor.

From what I've read the motor will even start work sometimes when slamming the car door a few times. It works on my passenger side currently.
