One day the Driver side window buttons stopped working. At first I just couldn't roll down the passenger side window from the drivers seat, but now I can't roll down any of the 4 windows.

I'd hate to have to bring it to Infiniti. (They have already tried to rip me off ).

Anyone had the same problem? Any quick fixes? Anything will help. Thanks

is the electric window lock possibly engaged? (the button next to the switches)

Yeah... that was the first thing I checked. I engaged it then released it quite a few times. Didn't help the situation. Thanks though

Now my sun roof stop working too. Can this all be related to a fuse? The only fuse i found was under the hood of my car labeled as Power Windows. Its a "40" so I can't check to see if its broken.

I hope its not the motor in both the driver side door and the sun roof. I'm sure it's extremely expensive to repair.

Does this sound like a broken fuse, or am I in for some deep cash?

sounds more like a fuse or a relay i doubt all motors would fail at the same time...when you remove the key from the ignition, you could still close/open the windows and sunroof for 30 seconds unless of course you open a door...which means they share the same fuse

Okay.. makes some sense. The only thing is that the passenger side button and both back seat buttons work for their windows.

Does this mean it wouldn't be the fuse? I'm going to try a new fuse 2morrow.

hmm thats funny...i would see the owners manual and see the fuse chart..it should show you the fuse numberamperage rating and their function...

this just happened to me..what was your outcome?

My husband is trying to trouble shoot right now.

We have 03 Nissan Murano and the driver side controls for the power locks, driver and passenger side windows, and the sunroof controls stopped working. The window controls for the rear windows on the driver side are still working.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

that is weird - i would say fuse - but i'm really not sure. Or maybe if u have someone that loves to play with the switch putting it up and down continuosly burnt something out - i dunno - i did that to a trooper of ours years ago. played with the switch till the board in the drivers door had burnt out. hope it isnt that bad for you

If some of the window switches work, and others don't, it's unlikely to be a fuseas it's unlikely to be separately fused for each cluster of switches (and on the '01 PF/QX4 it's a circuit breaker, not a fuse).

If all of the problems are in one cluster of switches, I'd be thinking the problemis in that cluster. I think the first thing I'd do is unplug and replug the cluster.
