driver side window and door handle

My 95 j30 driver side window doesnt stay up - I can hear the motor running, I am wondering if I can take the door panel off and hook up the control arm or something - in addition the door lock and handle quit working about the same time some times the lock and handle work and sometimes not, there does not seem to be a constant that I can track. It works some days with the key in the lock and somedays with the remote. Some one creased the side while it was parked so I am wondering if that could have caused the failures. And one more thing why would the tack all of a sudden jump over in the red, not at any particular time, just does it, not every day either, I dont hear the engine or transmission change.

Not sure about your window issue, but there have been several others on this board with door lock / door latch issues. When it's just one door giving you trouble, it's often the lock actuator and/or door latch failing.
