Hello, my 1994 Q45 have 2 issues that I could't find solution in the forum archive:

- Used to be able to turning the key in the 'unlock' direction and it would unlocks ALL the doors. Now it doesn't ALL the doors anymore.

- Driver's side window 1 push on the window auto-down button used to work, now doesn't; I have to keep holding before it goes all the way down.

Note: These 2 items did not stop function at the same time, so they are not quite related in terms of cause as far as I know.

Thanks for any tips to diagnose and possibly fix the above issues.

What yr/mk/mdl car are you talking about?

Generally....Can you feel the 2nd "click" position of the window switch? Most of the time you should feel the 2nd "notch" when it should go auto.

Using the key to do ALL unlock is if you give it two pulses. Turn it to unlock once (drivers door unlocks), release, then turn it to unlock again and see if that works any differently.

Your door lock timer might have a bad ground on the board like mine did.

My solution was to de-solder/re-solder the bad ground pins.
