Driver side seat problemsssss

So I went over the car with a fine tooth comb other then a few noises here and there my new project is the driver seat.. I usually use the panager seat for the third person or shopping so i finally decided to try to use my seat and the power works fine but the handle that you pull up does not bring the seat up.

It makes does like it wants to work but the seat does not go up.. Is there a process of elimination i can go through to trouble shoot it? anyone else with power seats that are having this problem???

I had this issue about a week ago! I've had my car since may 2010 and it was the first time it failed, but it was the reclining motor. It worked after about ten minutes of trying and I haven't had a problem since. I asked an employee at the dealership about it when I went to get an oil change and they said they had never had any problems so far.

I took my car to get detailed. This was a professional 150 dollar detail. They ended up some how breaking my driver seat. The motor had some how ceased. 5 days and 800 dollars later I had a new seat and my car back. Just seemed random

I had to get my seat track (an $800 piece) replaced after 2 months of ownership... Good thing I didn't have to pay for it, but I kind of expect bad things to happen to my driver seat cuz I'm 6'10" and 280 lbs lolzzzzzzz. I've been really gentle on the seat and I can aready feel/hear it breaking again...

Just face it, these seats are s**t!!!!! and yes, I get that alot from people, I most certainly am a giant!
