Driver side Power window just falls in.

Hello. My power window on drivers side has a problem where it doesn't go up.I did search but most people had a bad motor or a bad switch and that box.

Mine is I can manually pull the window up and then use the switch to move it a little bit down but too far makes it just fall in. Or if I just click the switch it just falls in. So the motor works and switch but the window just falls in so I have to manuall pull it out. I can really look in there because that metal shiled is welded to the door. You should have seen my face when I took the door panel off and found out I had to work throught those holes.

So any ideas guys?

I'm having a similar problem with my Q45.. Both my passenger and driver side window is stuck in the down position. When you push the button, you can hear the motor turning, but the window just isn't going up.. i'm guessing there's a gear problem or something. I'm still waiting on an FSM that's being sent to me, after which I will try and tackle the problem.. but if you make any progress, post on it! i'll do the same

The regulator is busted. Search the board - it's been covered.
