Replace bulbs first and see. You can remove front side marker if you push to one side and pull. Rear one, you have an access from inside of trunk.

no. Its possible for each one to burn out independantly from one another. I dont think its wired in a circuit if thats what your asking

Sorry if I am threadjacking but, I want to swap my four lights for clears. I see lots on ebay, but only refers to "Front" side markers. Can I use them for the rears as well?

These cars are old, but they're not strung up like christmas tree lights

I want to say no, but only because the front's are removed differently than the back, so I think they are shaped differently

If you really want, you could try to heat it up with heat gun, take it out and swap red reflector with clear one. Or there's got to be a way to swap them.

My clear front side markers should be in soon and I'll see if it's the same opening.

I was thinking that the front and rear are the same shape, just flipped upside down (tab towards the front on fronts, tab towards rear on rears). But its been a while since I've taken any out.

x2. As a last resort, you could even silicone seal them on... but I don't see why they wouldn't fit on the rear. When I had them all out, they looked exactly the same size.

Popped my side marker out of the front, & unbolted the rear one today to see if they are interchangable. My rear side was held by two nuts threaded onto stems attached to the back of the marker assembly. There was a wack of Butyl tape in there to seal it in place. My front marker was clipped in (tab in front), no hardware & no butyl junk to seal.It appears the front unit will fit nicely into the rear hole, just need some sealant to hold it in place.Has anyone else taken a closer look??
