Hey,I'm gunna make a long story short. When I got my car at the end of last summer it had a little bit of a lean on the front drivers side about 1/4 to 1" lower.I decide to swap the suspension out for some Gr2s and Ebay garbage arospeed springs. Then my car began to act strange when a cornerd kind of fast, when I turn fast to the right,it felt like I was about to fly out the driver door. But when I turn left fast It handles fine.So I went another step and bought some sportlines.Thinking it was the springs.Took the car for a wheel alighnment, and the problem was still there.Basically my problem is my driver side sits a little lower than the passenger side.It depends sometimes it sits 1/4" to 1" lower.I brought the car back to the alignment shop today beacuse the alignment was off again.Hes tells me I have a bad drivers side tie rod.But from what I understand tie rods have nuthing to do with hieght.Could installing a strut tower bar up front and not in the cause this?Should I replace my sway bars?Control arms?I have no clue?I'm starting to get very aggravated with this car I'd hate to get rid of it but I'm so tierd of this!It has a freshly swapped SR also, very clean car.If I don't get down to the bottom off this soon I might just sell it!Anyways sorry for the long post, but I figured I try my best to descibe the problem. Please any help would be appreciated.1990 red pig just in case...

From what I gather driverside lean is pretty common on 240SXs.

Mine doesnt do it.

It could be a lot of things... could be something as simple as your fenders are misaligned...

If you really want to know what's wrong, measure different parts of the car via the ground and see... i.e. left & right tow hook, left and right fender, left & right lca, tie rod, tension rod/brackets, hubs, etc.

Did you happen to check if one of your front shocks are blown? this will make it sag a little.

You can also add more weight on the passenger side, haha.

Hey red pig...i have that problem too...what i figure is that the shock kyb gr2...have a longer shock travel on the pass side...becuz that side is way too high...i checked it out the other day...the driver side spring is compact and the pass side is a lot looser than it...what i was gonna do was buy lowering springs but since u did and it didnt help i think im gonna buy new shocks for the fronts...if not buy coilovers so can adjust the height...

Wait check this out...when i took the springs off to replace the shock...i remember that on one side...the key that holds the spring down on top of the strut was loose...and on the other side the key was still locked in place...maybe the key fell off thus letting the spring push up on the pass side??i;m gonna check this out on monday and i'll let u know...

Just an FYI, I compared 2 different S13 front struts off an 89 and a 91 and the perch on one side is located higher than on the other. I suspect there was a very deliberate reason for this(cornerweighting of sorts). Though I replaced both sets with Tokico Blues and they had perches that were the same height as each other.

Hey guys, still having this problem???????Anybody else want to through me any suggestions?Having a little bit of bump steer, and a big amount of lean(body rol) when i get on off ramps to parkways going right.I brought the car to a good suspension place and he suspects(not sure)that my drivers side RUCA is bent? Can this be the problem? It is very visible to the eye that I have way more neg camber in the rear drivers side then on the passenger side.As of right now the only thing I bought new are the adjustable RUCA's.I also got tie rod ends, but I know that wouldn't effect roll like that, I just got them because I needed them. Also another question is does wheel size and offset effect camber at all?Thats the only reason why I have not brought the car back to the alignment shop.Because i am still waiting on my watanabe rs-8 from japan to arrive. This way I can bring the car in, have him install the RUCA and tierods align it on all sides then take it from there. So If the wheel size and offset does not effect camber mabey I will just take it to him this coming week?So thats my BIG problem! If the RUCA's don't help I don't know what to look at next?My next step would be getting KTS coilovers and see If that fixes? Please any input would be very much appreciated!!Sorry for the long post.......

Your car still rolls around corners because you still have soft spring on soft shocks, and I am betting you have stock swaybars. Get aftermarket swaybars and your bodyroll will be significantely reduced.

Wheel size and offset does not affect camber at all.If one of your rear wheels is VERY noticably camberd compared to the other one more than likely somethinglike an arm is bent in your rear suspension.RUCA's will bring your camber even on both sides because that is what they are made to do.If it makes you feel any better my car also had a slight height difference in the front drivers side

I understand that aftermarket sway bars will decrease body roll. But it only rolls bad when I am turning right. So I think that swaybars is probably not it.I do think there is a good chance that it could be the RUCA's like he said.So since wheel size and offset do not effect camber,I will be bringing it in this week for the RUCA's and a full alignment. If that doesn't do it the next step is going to be coilovers. Also, I think a little height difference in the front doesn't effect driveability as much as the rear does.Belive me it sucks............Thanks

I have same problem with my vert. My driver side is 1+ inch lower than passenger side. Especially back. My car looks really ugly from behind. It's been that way since I bought it back in 99. I still have stock shock & springs though. I noticed some oil leak on passenger side shock. Will it make passenger side go up???? Anyway, I want to lower my car, so I'm getting KTS coilovers in a couple of months. Got new 17' rims too. BTW, I searched and searched NICO forums and found out KTS is the best for my money and goal....

Maybe your lower control arm is bend downwards?

My nephew had a bent rear lower control arm before. It pulled his rear wheel in giving him positive camber.

Anyways, I've always noticed my drivers side is slightly lower too. Must be common. I'll have to measure tomorrow to see though.
