I was rolling my fenders with a baseball bat and accidentally smashed the driver side fender wiring harness There was a little bit of smoke coming off the wires after I crunched the harness. I inspected the wires and a couple were touching copper to copper. So I re-wrapped them to fix the problem.. right? not so much.

Now the car studders (misfires) under boost at around 3500 rpm. (I am running basically stock sr20 blk top) Also, the windows, tach, speedometer, seatbelt motor, and a bunch of other stuff doesn't work.

Can someone tell me which sensors are effected by the wiring harness in the driver side fender? It seems like I shorted the wires a blew something, I dunno. please help!

I know for a fact that the P/W and seatbelts are a 30a (green) fusible link on the passenger side in the relay/fuse box (1 fuse to rule them all). Don't know about your tach and speedo though.

And for reduncancy sake, double check to make sure you got them all. I rubbed through and melted like 8 wires last week...and amazingly it did not blow a single fuse or start any small fires...my car just wouldn't turn off.

^I looked at that thread. I want your piggy Claw. It's so clean. Don't screw it up!!! please!! Anyway, if you aren't going to re-install the fender liners (cause of rubbing), I recommend taping everything off, prepping the fenderwell (clean off dirt, light sanding, etc.), primering it, painting it, and then coating it with underbody coating to help keep the metal from rusting out since it's going to get wet when it rains, rocks will chip off the factory paint, etc. only cost you a few bucks and some time, well worth IMO.

I found two broken fuses exactly where you said in the box passenger side under hood. One was a 75 Amp fuse labeled FL75A ALT, and a 10 Amp fuse labeled ENG CONT. Anyone know what these are. I'm assuming the 75 is for alternator, but what is ENG CONT.?

The 75 amper is not available at local autoparts stores so it looks like I won't be getting one from Nissan till thursday.

75A is the alt and the other is for the ECu, I don't know why there's another one that's 30A I'll look through the wiring diagrams in a few. If you said your seat belts and windows aren't working take a look at the green one 2 spaces over from the alt fusible link, sometimes they look fine but if you take them out and shake them you can hear they're blown.
