driver side exhaust manny removal

has anyone remove or replaced the exhaust manifold on the driver side? is it possible to do this without a complete tear down? i have a good size hole just above the cat.

Alldata says 8 hrs. for left exh. man. R&R, 10.5 for engine assy. R&R. Looks like you'll be just shy of an engine swap...
