Driver Side Door Will Not Open

Two days ago, I got out of my J to drop off something real quick, when I came back, the driver's door wouldn't shut. I wiggled the latch, and got it to shut, no problem. I get home, get out go in, no problem. Next day, I am rushing to work - door will not open. Not from inside, outside, anyside. When I try to unlock the door, the lock opens, makes a whirring sound and then locks up again. I am getting tired of going through the passenger's side to get in my car, I have looked at the fuzzycats.com info, sounds like I need a latch. Problem, can't get the bleeding door open. Any suggestions??

Wow..i just posted this problem with my J a few minutes ago..same exact problem..just all of a sudden....let me know if you find out anything..how weird is this?!!
