Driver Side door latch broke - 1994 J30

Had my J for about 6 years now and haven't had a SINGLE problem with anything pertaining to it getting me around, amazing car overall. But the door is now stuck shut and it is a little embarrassing having to climb in from the passenger side every time.

Anyways, just want to confrim with you guys that this is just a problem with the door latch? I think I can get the door open using some of the methods posted on these forums but where should I go to purchase a new latch? How much should I look to pay?

and also...how long will the repair take? It took me about 2 hours to repair a window motor so keep that in mind.

When you say broke do you mean the part you pull on is flopping easily ?Or you cant pull it ?

no essentially the door is stuck shut, and neither handle works....when I push the unlock button the lock struggles a little bit and then locks again....there is physically no way to open the door easily
