Hi All,
The curved hard cover behind the driver's seat on my M35 has come loose and whatever I do, it does not latch on. Has anyone faced this issue ?

I probably was not great at explaining it here, but if required I will try and post some pics tomorrow.

TIA

I had the same problem. My clips had worn out somehow and I had to get the white clips replaced. They are like $4 each from the dealer or something.

I think my plastic clips have worn out too. I plug those clips in and the cover just falls off. i tried testing the clips themselves and there is no way those small indentations are going to retain the cover any more. I guess I will have to get them replaced as well.

Thanks so much for the replies.

Hi,

Any place online that I can get them?

My local dealer does not seem to have them.

TIA

My dealership does not sell the clips. They want me to by a brand new seat back.

Tell them to go screw themselves.

Its funny, last time this thread came up I had just gotten my passenger seat back fixed a few weeks before. This time it gets bumped and literally today I dropped my car off for a bunch of maintenance and also to get the drivers seat back done. The exact cost of it? No charge. Yep you read that right, dealership replacing the clips for free. Last time I didnt get nearly as much service done so they charged me something like $10.

Its time for you to find a different mechanic and/or dealership

EDIT: here, I took a pic since I bet you will call BS on my story:

Thanks. Does anyone know where I can but these clips online. The parts Manila doesn't every list the clips separately. I would just as soon not even involve the dealer at this point.

I dont think so, but ill check when I get home.

EDIT: alright so looks like the part number is: PIN-01553-01034, and you need two of them.

InfinitiPartsUSA I think is a sponsor of these forums so you should buy from them.
