I was wondering if I would be able to obtain some information on replacing and refurbishing my rear driver's side axle as the boot of the axle is currently ripped and filled with dirt. I only saw this after giving up on diagnosing the vehicle and taking it to Firestone.

The car I think is stil driveable as the vibrations is hardly felt though the noise (low pitched deep hum) is unbearable. I am pretty sure that this is the culprit I have already replaced my tires and also my rotors and brake pads. This noise is only heard above 30mph.

I was also wondering whether or not any of you all would have any parts that I can use, or any special tools that would be needed. I have obtained the Maintenance and Repair manual for this infinti model and year and am very willing to invest as much time as is necessary. Please be instructive as this is my first time in pursuing such a task. Thanks for all your help,

To be honest... that's a pretty rare failure. I haven't done the work before. Maybe Wes will come along shortly with some advice... he parted out his Q and may have pulled them...
