driver's side power window relay harness loose?

everytime i go to put my driver's side window down, it won't work unless i take off the door panel and squeeze the harness into the little black relay behind the door. i've tried tieing the harness to the relay and zip tieing it and it didn't work... should i replace the relay with a newer one that might hold the harness better or glue it in place or what? it's driving me crazy cuz i can't open the window while driving, i have to stop, rip off the door panel , and then stick my arm under it, risk getting that nastly door glue stuff all over my arm, and then nudge it , but then if i want to shut the window, i have to do the same thing. argh......any suggestions? could doing this repeatedy burn or short something out ? thanks.

haha sometimes my drivers window dosen't wana go down... I have to push up and then push down on the button before it opens... lately it hasn't been acting up but it does that... it's retarded. But i'm just thinking the button is going bad. I need a new one.
