A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Earlier today I pushed my drivers' seat all the way back to add a subwoofer to my current head unit. Now that the installation is complete, I can not move the seat forward again.

I have looked under the seat and the locking mechanism is functioning properly. I've tried the good ol' "push harder" method and that isn't working either. Lastly, it feels like just the right track is "locked" or "blocked". Since I was working up front, I'm pretty sure that nothing fell down into the track.

Anyone got any ideas?

Something is in the track. I had this happen to me once and a coin was stuck in there. I had to kick the hell out of that seat to break it loose.

Had the same thing happen on an Xterra. It was a nickel that fell down on the right hand side of the seat through the gaps. Seat got moved all the way back by my dad and it got stuck. There are four bolts holding the seat down to the floor of the car. They are easily removed, and you can take the whole seat out of the car and put it upside down to have the coin fall out. I had to loosen the coin a little bit with a flat head screw driver, but it came right out. There is a cable connected under the seat for the seat belt detection. In order to remove the seat, you need to disconnect the cable.
