Driver power seat malfunctioned already...

One of the functions on my power driver's seat is no longer working,,, the up/down on the front part of the seat. If I press the button I can still hear the 'electric motor sound' of the power running, but the seat doesn't move.

Anyone else have this same problem?

A big hassle because dealership will only look @ this type of repair on weekdays, which means a wasted vacation day possibly for me, and then the need to get a rental car so I don't have to sit at the dealership for 3 hours. acK! :P

I'm sorry to hear that. How many miles and for how long have you had the car?

Always a hassle to get something repaired but its under warranty. I recently had a nick on my rear bumper fixed that was there when I purchased the car. I was driving a Dodge Avenger rental for 2 days....worst car evarrrr!

yargh; I think I've had the car maybe 2 months now... maybe 1K miles/month or so. not too bad. also have a small ding though... possibly will have it repaired, that would cost like $120 though.

I suggest you wait a while. It's not the last ding that you will have in your car. After some time, you can get it detailed and fix all the dings at once.
