driver fog light still out after changing

last week my driver side fog light went out, so naturally i thought it just burned out. i bought and installed a new bulb but it's still not working. the fuse is fine, checked that too. anyone have an idea what could be wrong? thanks

Have you checked the plug with a voltage tester?
