sorry for double posting, but i'm trying to gather as much intel as i can before heading down to check out my problem over the weekend...

check the driveshaft center support bearing, it is mounted in rubber and the rubber goes bad after awhile and causes the driveshaft to kind of whip around causing a bad vibration at speed. generally this vibration is at it's worst during acceleration or deceleration.another thing to check is the trans mount.a bad trans mount can cause a bad vibration under load also.

yea, but it also vibrates like a washing machine on spin cycle under no load- stick in neutral-coasting... as well...

yeah, any condition where the driveshaft is rotating can cause vibration if the center support bearing is bad. it's just usually gets worse as you load the driveshaft.to me it sounds more likely that a wheel weight has fallen off or shifted causing a bad wheel vibration.
