i am about to finish up installing my turbo kit tomorrow. i put in 370cc injectors and am wondering if i keep my car out of boost will i be able to drive my car to the shop to have it tuned? i have an emanage but dont have a wideband or any tuning experience so i want to have the shop tune it just incase.

No problems. As long as it runs well and you stay out of boost, you will be perfectly fine.

be really gentle when pushing the gas pedal so it wont boost.

well you should turn them down a little, you cant just run the 370cc without any kind of correction

i dont know exactly how the emanage works sincei have an safc, but go into the fuel map and trim it down 25% straight across and dont boost.

there is a setting on the emanage to correct for injector size. so if i just change the injector size from 270 to 370 i should be ok for a short ride as long as i am careful? also real quick, about what boost is the stock maf good to? im assuming i should be replacing it above 7psi?

Not so much a boost number...but it's good 'til about ~240rwhp...so if you're running a T3/T4, that may be 7-8psi. But that's abut 8-9psi from a straight T3...

Mine is also 8-9psi my MAF max's out... with a TD06-20G turbo.

My MAF stops at 4.97 volts...

So I went MAP with the E-manage. :) Much better.

If you have the support cd and cable, you can go in and add your new injector value and old injector value and the unit will auto compensate for the change. It's under one of the menu items (under Options, parameter settings, I think).

Man Kev.... no credit to me for putting your turbo kit on for ya? lol Didnt know I used to poste on these boards a ways back eh? That boost gauge sure would help you at this point to stay out of boost since you are new to turbos.
