I cant remember where I read it but I was told that the auto driveshaft would work with a manual. If I am wrong I am wrong.

and I'm sorry to say but your wrong. The manual driveshaft is shorter than the auto driveshaft.

quick question then. Can I use the front part of a manual driveshaft and the rear of my auto's?

I just went to look but forgot that my Dad put my automatic driveshaft in storage. But I thought that it was the rear section that was shorter on a manual but I'm not positive. But you could just buy the whole manual driveshaft. Mine cost 100 bucks from a wrecking yard.
