I am going to replace my stock TT drive shaft soon with a platinum/steel one from Z1 motorsports or a carbon fiber one. I need suggestions on which one would be best... steel or carbon fiber? I've heard good and bad things about both types so now I am asking for your help so I can make the right choice. Thank you!

i just got an aluminum driveshaft from Kyle at import parts pro -- it is within ounces of the carbon fiber driveshaft at a third of the cost -- the only advantage to the carbon fiber (besides the fact that it is cool) is that if you are drag racing and you have too much power the carbon fiber driveshaft will disiningrate instead of coming through the floor into your body -- i would call or email kyle at import parts pro -- he can hook you up at a very reasonable cost !

steel = heavy, CF = pricey, I'd also go aluminum
