K well I have to replace my rear transmission seal because its leaking. But I can find anything that says how to remove the drive shaft. I found the online workshop manuals but those dont really explain how to remove it. Is there any other manuals out there that is like a step by step manual? Kind of like Haynes or something?

It pretty straight forward. Look under the car at the drive shaft and at the end you will see 4 bolts. Then remove the carrier bearing.

It took me days to get mine off because the bolts were rusted. Hopefully yours wont be that bad. Its just four 14mm bolts. Also a socket wont be able to fit on them.

Man, I just tried replacing my seal. But those damn 4 bolts in the rear are a b****. I sprayed them with PB but nothing... Seems like whoever put them on there torqued them too much and the nuts look damaged too. Hope I don't strip them...

Loosen the NUTS not the bolt head. It will come off muchhh easierThen the carrier then slide the shaft out. Then replace seal, make sure not to scratch the surface when pulling the old one

No way an impact gun would fit in there. But I do to the impact guns.

Sorry for the miscommunication, but I was trying to turn the NUTS and not those bolts. I looked at those bolts and thought to my self, "would be way easier to turn the nuts." Next time i'll pull the parking brake even tighter so the drive shaft won't move as much, and put the car in gear.

If the leaks are forming here, then the rear seal must be done for, right? Took out the filler plug and gear oil came out, maybe my leak was being caused because of an overfill? Well, I've topped off the transmission with some redlline and will see If it keeps on leaking from there.

Check out how my exhaust burned up all the leaking fluid.
