If It's the place I think it is they told me it would be $800 for a custom driveshaft and it would be 3-4 weeks. He would only make it using Carbon fiber. I then called a place in Vegas and got one for 297 shipped and I got it in less then a week. It is just a steal driveshaft.

plai xiong: any a local drive shaft shop can custom make you a drive shaft and would be a fraction cheaper.

that place in Florida said he'll do it for me Steel.. $350.00allium: $450.00 and Carbon fiber.. $550.00.. nothnig about shipping yet..

In Minnesotathere are some but they have not give me a possible.. answer.. they don't seem to know what the heck I'm talking about..they are mostly OEM... Not much custom.. If custom it cost between $300- $500 and we have to possibly provide the parts.. So it might turn out to be $800.00..

Nissan 300ZX drive shafts go for $900.00 up here.. in Minnesota..I have not be able to find any used drive shaft for a good price.. nothing under $100.00..

Soo.. IMISSMYTURBO...:: where is this place you are taking about..?? give me the number.. and address?

I got my one-piece custom steel driveshaft made locally near Chicago at http://www.shafts.comTotal was about $375.If you plan to use them..... then I need to provide the list of u-joints/input shafts they had to order and list it in this thread because otherwise mine was the first and last 240/RB25 shaft they will ever make.....Usually a custom domestic shaft takes them 1-day. I walked in on a Tuesday..express shipped the parts from their warehouse/supplier on the west coast...and had the shaft on my car on Thursday.Greaseable joints recommend greasing every 3k miles- should last 100k miles. I could only dream of making enough hp to destroy this driveshaft.

I modified the stock RB25 mounts and R33 cross member = free- no hitting hood- -steering shaft/02 housing clearance fine--no front oil pan/sway bar contact--shifter perfectly sitting center to center in shifter hole-Center of front U-joint with RB25 input shaft bottomed out inside the transmission...to...face of differential = 41 inches for me (S13 hatch with longer '95 J30 LSD).
