Anyone know of a good way to check the tension on the drivebelts for a 1999.5 pathfinder? I doesn't look like there's a self adjusting tensioner so I guess it's all based on how much I manually adjust the pullies. Anyone have any tips/tricks?

Thanks!

I don't think you need to go crazy about a specific tension value. Just go a bit tight with a new belt and recheck it after a few weeks. As long as you don't crank it to 80,000 hojillion ft lbs, you'll be okay I think.

Yeah, I was going to just tighten them by feel. I know there's a tool to check for tension. I just didn't want to overtighten since there's supposed to be a little play
