Got a summons for drinkin a 40 in a public parking lot, the ticket is pink.
Anyone in NY know the fine for this?

Its really depends on the judge..,. he could dismiss it if he was having a good day... or fine you $100 .

You could call the court clerk and ask to meet with the prosecutor however, you may need a lawyer to argue on your behalf?

Here in NJ there is very strict police enforcement of underage drinking and DUI with roadblocks in the middle of the night

I hate it when people say "You got a ticket? Well don't speed!" or..."You got a Tint Ticket? Well why did you pay to have your car tinted if you knew it was illegal"...I just HATE it when people say that...

That is the epitamy of ASKING to get caught.
I am pretty sure in Michigan (were I grew up) you would get Jail Time (2 weeks, maybe 30 days).
You are a man now...and they would kick your a$$ to the curb. Throw a couple of "Intoxicated in Public" for good measure...and be looking at $500...
I know kids when I was in HS that got busted in raids at house parties and got $200 fines, and that was with them (the kids) trying to be sneeky about it!
