am looking to buy a drilled rotor for my 02 maxima and was wondering if u guys can refer me to a reasonably priced quality brembo like brake rotors website where i can get one. i saw one on ebay called R1 CONCEPTS. anyone ever use their products. help, my brakes are in bad shape now.

A lot of Maxima guys get Brembo blanks from ebay. They're not drilled, but you can have them drilled if you want to.Really, there's not much point to using drilled rotors on a Max unless it's some sort of beast. They'll just eat up your pads.

Agreed. The blanks are more than adequate for most cars out there. One major issue is the drilled rotors have a bad tendency to crack. To me they're more of show-off items than performance. They don't offer any cooling benefits (its a common misconception that the holes let air travel through them and cool the rotor). They are said to offer a little more initial grab, but if you're looking for true performance that's really the exact opposite of what you want.

The only decent benefit about them, to me, is that if water gets on your brakes the holes do allow the water to get out faster so that you don't have that initial braking loss when they do get wet. But to me the detriments outweigh the benefits.
