are drill and slotted rotors good brakes??? i talked with my buddy from work and he told me that the drill kinds at more likly to break. i figured that if they are both that it vents heat better and will have much better stopping power then just having one of each. can somebody inform me about the cons and pros of having just one or the other or maybe just both??? thanks....

with slotted, you will wear through pads a little quicker, with drilled, they will be more prone to cracking and breaking.

If drilling is not done correctly they will be to cracking at the holesSlotted rotors will wear softer (racing) pads faster. Normal pads will last slightly less and with normal flat rotors but nothing extremely fast.
