Ok i was wondering how well would a car with airbags drift? i know in drifting you try to get the stiffest possible setup but the way my car is looking its gonna be more of a daily driver than a track car although it will see some track time. The reason i would like the air bags is for one thing of coure the height can be adjusted as opposed to my 3000gt which has ground control adjustable coilover yes they might be adjustable but the ride is ruff really ruff so now im trying to avoid the ruff ride if i can but if i cant so be it.thanks guys

One of the biggest misconceptions of drifting is that you need a super stiff setup. Even the d1 drivers are softening thier setups these days because its helping them with smoother transitioning ect. I have an Option DVD that has NOB's & Kazama's coilovers on a dampening dyno machine with thier personal settings and it shows why its not recommended to be setup super stiff (telemetry read outs). Theres alot of other useful info about rebound ect.

Also , it can be down to personal preference.

Alright thanks slappy ill check there today.

Do you think it would be a wise choice for drifting or should i just stick with the same setup every one else is doing?

leesredgt - I really cant give you an answer. All i can say is i drifted fine with stock springs/shocks , then did even better with the Tokico HP spring & shock kit , and now im at my highest level with my Tanabe Coilovers. I dont like giving advice on parts i dont have any experience with

ill give advice on parts ive never used

airbags belong on show cars. not on track cars. if your ride is too stiff with coilovers get a softer spring.
